About Me
Hi, my name is Dangirutis Kazlauskas, no need to twist your tongue - just call me Dan. Me and my family have moved to Ireland back in 2004 and I have enjoyed a fruitful and fast paced graphic design career, working on projects for some of the biggest Irish and multinational companies.
Two years ago I’ve put my graphic design career on hold in favor of my true passion - photography. I’ve been an enthusiastic photographer ever since I first got my hands on a professional DSLR camera in 2003.
Photographing friends and family led to their acquaintances booking photoshoots with me. I enjoyed the experience of meeting new people and witnessing their happiest moments in life so much, I was determined photography is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Time flies but memories stay forever, please allow me to capture your family memories in photographs...
The Studio
My cosy family photo studio is equipped with professional lighting, various backdrops and props. Together with my wife Aura, who helps me during baby photo shoots, we have built a collection of knitted props for babies.
We will never rush you, if you need to feed your baby, change clothes or take an important phone call - take your time and relax, we need happy faces for the camera.
My Equipment
I use a Nikon D7100 24.1MP DSLR Camera with Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art Edition lens for my studio work. This combination, in conjunction with professional PiXAPRO studio lighting, produces very high resolution images and eliminates graininess (ISO noise), often observed in photographs taken in natural light studios or in low light conditions.
